that song is still with me....that shrivelling,horrific song.....

lol...good story. Lots of tunes are ruined that way...all the worse if the song happens to be a rock classic that gets played all the time. Plenty of "worst" songs never get played. For instance, I hated "Pillow Talk" by Sylvia (1973), but you never hear that one played.

'Play That Funky Music White Boy' always shreds my nerves. ...It hurts my head just to type the title.

'Brown Eyed Girl', 'Blister in the Sun', 'Livin on a Prayer' and all those other songs that just seem to follow me around on my pub crawls also hurt my senses.
