Today's card doesn't inspire as much confidence as yesterday's but, it's PRICES that we/me need to "make it happen" and today offers a few races that look like they may produce the $$$$$. Of course, the problem is finding the right horses.

Actually, the second race looks BEATable, but I'm coming up with at least one of the favorites in the zotic and (again) we need prices. No play.

6th race: Sorry, I'm gonna be doing the "PLENTY of low denomination tickets" bit for this race, so I can't get specific with the plicks cause I'll be using MOSTLY 4 of the horses in this full field race and I'll also be doing plenty of wheeling and dealing. Let's see... OK, put it this way - there are two inside horses I like 3,5 and there are two outside horses I like 11 and 12.

7th race: 5,9 top/bot w. 2,3.

Ya know, it looks like I just come up with the hoss plicks off the top of my head or a coin flip. NOT SO... it took me OVER a half hour to come up with today's plays. AND... . . that doesn't count the amount of time it takes me to weed out the Unplayable waces. That part doesn't take that much time at all though.

BTW, there ain't nuthin to watch on TV on Sunday night that interests me so I decided to make a small, single play on the game just enough to get interested with it. I decided that G.B. would score some pts. and they did just that right off the bat too (touchdown). Now, Green BAY scores O/U 25 pts. was the line but I bought it down to 23 1/2 to get it under 24. ... Got it ( I gots -> G.B. scores OVER 23 1/2)? And you do know how many they scored, right? The beat goes on with those bastages and it really sucks losing EVERY game the same way. SOMB! (that means SON-Ah-MAH-BEACH!!). Just unreal.

That's it for today.

7th finished EXACTLY the way it figured to; just like the last playable race (6th). Looking for prices, even at this track, is not the way to go THESE DAYS. That no. 5 was the best L@@KER, by far, too. Playing the RATED horses, even if they are favored is the way to go but I beat this track in the past slipping in LONGshots... and doing just that is not working these days

Not that it makes a difference to the Visitors.. but here's my RATINGS, in order, for the playables (6th and 7th races):

6th race: 3-6 and a long way to go to the 3rd top plick

7th race: 9-5 and a long way to go to the 3rd top plick.

Sure hope this track isn't turning into an Aqueduct or Belmont cause I'll be up the creek soon. Making small bets helps, but now this track is chipping and chipping away AT ME like I used to do to it and the bankaroo is dwindling.

The ONLY thing that works lately

The ONLY thing that works lately

Don't know who the 3 mystery guest are, so here goes anyway even though it doesn't matter...

New rules for me? Ya gotta do what ya gotta do, I guess:

1. DON'T post the race at hand
2. DON'T go through all the trouble and time to comprehensively (how's that 50 cent word :)) handicapping the race at hand
3. Look for LOOKERs and just add that to whatever you know about the hosses at hand
4. Bet small ... hmmm, sometimes.

For the 9th race I followed all 4 steps and the result was ... sure enough.. a... WIENER :0053

No doubt, nobody around here saw the prerace stuff for this race. It's hard to describe what a good L@@KER looks like, but IF you did see the prerace you'd see that the no. 8, A FIRST TIME STARTER, had the L@@Ks of a "ready hoss". That one didn't do anything spectacular or anything near that, just fully awake is pretty much what made that one stand out from the others.

Briefly, the plays were 5,8 top/bot 2,3 and here's something that I do that I don't bother to post... $2 zacks this way "-->" and ONE stinkin dollar this way "<--". Sometimes that hurts and sometimes it HELPS and today was the latter. Try it on paper and see how it works for you.
Also 3 STINKIN dollars Win/Place on nos. 8 and 2 was the side bet. REALLY.

Don't know who the 3 "Guests" are, but maybe this interests them.

This race doesn't mean much cause finding a first time starter in an UNplayable wace doesn't mean that the rough going at Philly lately has ended. NICE payback for this race anyways. We'll ... ah, I'LL see tomorrow. I sure ain't confident about the "new" rules and I think I better skip rule no. 2. :)

I sure hope there's something better on TV tonight than there was last night. LOL
