Goofy,

Hey I live here in AZ and the d-backs are going through what they went through last year. Players not hitting is clutch situations. They have enough pitching to at least get the wild card. If the bats don't wake up they are going to fade. I have been playing the under in all of the games sice the all-star break. Until they wake up with the bats.

Brenly needs to decide on a line-up. He has used 84 different line-ups.

thanks for the insight worm. that is gonna be one helluva race.

it'll be interesting to see how they do if they make the playoffs. Any team that can march out johnson and then follow schilling is gonna have a chance.

I agree totally. But they need to find there way into the playoffs. There are alot of team with a shot this year in the National League. I hope they can get there. They have been good against the Dodgers and Padres and Rockies, but the Giants give them trouble all the time. The Giants are the team in the west right now to beat. If the d-backs do get into the playoffs I do look for them to have sucess. But I keep doing my best d-back offense dance and it hasn't worked yet.

Good luck today.

Today will be an interesting day in the life of the dbacks. The Big Unit must be the Big Stopper one more time. The Dbacks are in real danger of falling farther behind the Dodgers (vs. weak Pitt) and SF. If Florida, 33-18 at home, can beat him, Dbacks may continue spiral. However, these are usually the games where Johnson shines.
