is good...the number two team in country and the "best" in big 12 gave up 42 first half points.....texas tech = a big bear riding unicycle as does the whole big 12

So you think Maryland or any ACC team could beat a top 5 Big 12 team?
:nono:
Seriously ,I think the ACC has alot of great teams ,you might see an average of 2 to 3 loses for teams.Realisticly its because these teams are good, not bad.
To answer your question .Of course they could(See BC).
Sorry man,
No ACC team could match, slow down or handle the offense that would be thrown at them.
BC would get embarrassed by Texas, Okie, TT, or Mizzou

CBS is projecting BC to play San Jose in the Emerald Bowl. That should be a good one.
So that would be projected to be what there 10th straight bowl win.If they win next week thats a 2nd straight trip to ACC championship game .
Lets see what happens.Ill say one thing there consistent either way, kinda like Baylor who finishes 2-9 every year.
I disagree ,Ill give the offense to those schools, but size wise on D BC ,is much bigger.
Brace and Herzlich who both could be high draft picks have size and speed. Not to mention they lead nation in takaways (interceptions).
Maybe they will meet one of those teams in a bowl game.
I should digress...all im saying is comparing conferences is dumb...I think okl and fla are the best teams and should play for the nc...but`the hoopla about how great or bad conferences are is really outta whack..
Like always OU pounds the bad teams with style.
It seems Texas is going to get burned by the Late Loss Syndrome.
Texas loses to TT on their field.
TT loses to OU on their foeld.
Texas beats OU on neutral field.
Texas is only team of the 3 to beat the Big 12 North champ Missouri.
So who should go to the Big 12 title game.

Here are the 2 conf. standings based on games played before today.Notice were the ACC has more teams over .500,and the Big 12 has more teams under .500.
The South Division is very strong record wise thou as 4 teams have 9 wins or more. But the North division is very weak(understatement),as only 2teams have 7 wins or better.
Looking at the ACC. 6teams have 7wins or better
Only 2 teams have 4 wins or less .None have less then that, weres the 12conf .has 4 teams with 4 wins or less, with 1 team having 2 loses (IOWA ST).
Bottom line the Big 12 might have one better division than the ACC,but a better conference??
Thats up for debate.
Plus to compare the 2conferences is tough cause there 2 different styles. The ACC is built on defense and special teams. You wont find no Texas Gunslingers up here.Thats what the big 12 is built on.Offense,Offense,Offense.
But if you put these 2 conferences playing head to head. You cant say one is better than the other.
I could put up 60 pts. on some of the defenses in the big 12,no??
First off the top of the BIG 12 is the top in the nation. They are so far ahead of the ACC its not even funny.
You want to compare bottom feeders, there we could debate. You want to talk cream of the conference the ACC would get smoked.
The ACC is just a mess of a bunch of average teams where any team can beat any team.
The BIG 12 has ELITE national teams.
