Why isn't it:

Tigers pitching continues to overpower opponents

Tigers staff continues to thrive




This is why I get frustrated...


Yankees hit and scored and ran bases vs balty....and against everyteam in the regular season...

So they haven't been good enough this series.....ya because detroit is loaded and haven't let them....

Any other opponents and yankees are in world series....
Detroit is just better....

A) It's that what because the Yankees are the Yankees
B) Verlander's dominant last two starts and Miguel Cabrera's development (he's not just a hitter, he studies the game!!11!!!) are getting *just* enough pub that it doesn't anger me that the Tigers aren't getting paid attention to
C) Verlander fell behing in counts plenty yesterday... the Yankees let him out of a few spots. Imagine if everybody had the hitting approach of Nunez's HR AB. Different game, different series.

I like when the guy called ARod out on not answering the question. Maybe he was sending balls out to Australian bikini models.

I agree with everything you said beside the part I quoted. The Yankees did not score against Baltimore. They were terrible, both teams were terrible. That's why the games went 12 innings, neither team could get a damn hit.
