Post pictures? I see some people can post pictures that show up automatically, and some you have to click a link. I want them to show up automatically.

When you typing a reply to a post, place the website with the picture on it with the text
. Some sites wont' work when you do that so you'll have to post the link. For example, this is a fake site but to show you:

Try this ... do you see the code on the bottom left corner? Yes? Ok that is probably what you would use to post. Now you need to know a couple of things.
1. The Width & Height of your picture i.e 200x450
200= width & 450= height
2. You need to let the server know where to find your picture
i.e.[B] C:/homepics/thisisme.jpg [/B]
3. You need to embed the picture by using the [IMG] code but be sure to close the code as well.

It can't just be on your home computer, the picture's got to be on a website somewhere. If you put in just C:/etc etc it might show up on your screen, but it would never appear on anyone elses.YankeeCowboy said:
GM is correct ... I was thinking about the string and forgot the path needs to be on the net somewhere.
However .. having said that .. there are some post boards that have the ability to grab it from your local server. Not sure if this one is capable of that or not so you should probably take GM's advice about the NET.
Meaning you have to UPLOAD your picture to a webpage first then tell the Board Server what the URL is.
