So. Cal
depends

does that ticket still pay if there are pushes or are pushes losers???

if the ticket still pays then depending on his money situation and ability to bet:

he's basically got a 2 team parlay ore/over to win 16k

he can bet the other 3 parlay combos:

ore/under
aub/over
aub/under

and guarantee some sort of profit...you could figure out the break even point but for every 100 wagerd on the parlays he'd win 60 or (1000 = 600)

also, seeing as how the line has dropped to aub -1.5 he might get extremely lucky and get a 2 point aub win and hit multiple bets.

other option is to wait until halftime and see what the score/2nd half line is and wager accordingly at that point (which might be the better option)

Like I said it's a buddies and oh man is he excited!

What's the right strategy here?

make damn sure it is with a book in great standing so if he decides to hedge this he doesn't get laid out to dry..

$7.77 is a typical rec players figure.

which means he may or may not know whether this book has any history of no pay or slow pay..

in the case of slow pay or mitigating circumstances he doesn't want to get holding the short stick on a short term loan out of equity or family/friend..

good luck..just cross all those T's and dot those I's

very true OLDschool.

would hate too see him get dicked in the long run.

i have been thinking of what i would do. i would put 500 on Aubrun ML and 500 on the under

if both parlay bets lose, he wins somewhere around $850 from each straight bet. If they split, he loses the juice plus the 7.77 from the parlay. If he loses both straight $500 bets, well that means his parlay cashes and its time too celebrate. :0071

he will only lose around $70 bucks worst case, and thats if the game finishes with Aubrun/over, or oregon/under. If its oregon and over, huge day, if its auburn and under, well he still wins $850.

I guess why im thinking this route is because he is only risking around $70 too win $850 or better yet, the big $16,000. I dunno that may be a dumb strategy, but thats what I would do.

Also if Auburn wins by less then 3 and it goes over, he will win the parlay and also the extra $500 from his ML bet with auburn. I dunno thats prolly what I would do:shrug:

he may not be comfortable risking the $70 if he does infact split, but man only risking $70, and having a chance at either $850 or $16,00 is just great odds. I think he has too take a chance at some sort of hedge.

Thanks guys.

He uses sportsbook.com not a local so he should be safe with the payout. Actually cashing out is another thing though.

I told him to play Auburn, Auburn ML, and the under and parlay Auburn spread and the under as well.

Now here's the bigger question: I'm a UW grad and absolutely hate the Ducks with a burning passion and I won't be able to live with myself if they get an NC under their belt.

it is no longer 7 bucks..

it became a hell of lot more than that when the hedge option became a fact..

GUARENTEED MONEY IS JUST THAT..

TAKING THE MAN'S MONEY WITH NO RISK AT ALL.

THE ONLY KIND OF GAMBLING that pays off for the 99 out of a 100 who lose each and every day at sports wagering..

take the mans money..put it in your pocket and find a hot babe and a 12pk..

now you have won..

don't drink and drive...

I would play the under for a large sum... I think Oregon and the Under cover... just my .02.

The most important thing is that he gets a minimum of 3k into that account to hedge this thing properly.

Beg, borrow or steal but that needs to get in there fast.

And play the under big...

checked arrived..bank cashed it..money in hand..

don't want to read he hasn't reached the rol-overs and can't have the full payout..

then ya gotta put him onto a great college hoops totals player and line up 4 or 5 good outs to middle is way to the roll-over agreement.

get the.....:0071

gotta go $1000 on each of the other parlays. if the total pushes in the 12-team card, that cuts the $16k down some, but if you lose the 12-team, you still guarantee ~$600-$7.77 profit regardless of the outcome. if Auburn covers and the total pushes, he loses his $7.77, loses the oregon parlay, wins $990 x 2... so you have $592, $970, $14k as your possibilities.

if you can double it to $2k on each, do it. take as much guaranteed $ as possible!

Have never cashed out more than $2500 myself.. Friend received 10 grand in checks and had a hell of time cashing them.. Other arrangements were made when cash was sent in a magazine via fed ex..

Lets say you win $16 grand, how the hell do you cash that.. I mean do you just want to cash out monthly of about 2 grand and open up different bank acccounts at different banks.. I wouldn't think you would want to run to your bank with a 16,000 check.. Don't they let a certain agency know about the money??
