I know he's a catcher but if a guy can go home to second on a hit, how can you not make it home??

only thing I can think of logically (except that he's a slow fat ass) is a ground rule double...but I guess they would've said that instead of "doubled to center"...

not watching the game but a texas leaguer where the runner must wait till it drops & the batter can just run explains it. a ground rule double the runner gets 2 bases

Maddux allowed to bat with bases loaded in the top of the 5th, hits into a double play, finishs the 5th with 71 pithces and then gets the hook? Is Dusty trying to lose??
