By the way:

For those of you from Texas, when I go sking in Colorado, why do I see a bunch of people with Colorado license plates who have bumper stickers on there cars stating "Texans Go Home". Ya don't see any with New Yorker go home or Ohioans go home, just Texans. I wonder why. Could it be that hillbilly, arrogant, LOUD, mentality of yours. Nah, were just jealous.

Eddie

P.S. Just because of you guys, I hope the Ducks cream you tonight.

Mr. Monk:

No doubt, you had a run in with the law and were not satisfied with your legal representation. Thats no reason to take it out on all of us lawyers. We have feelings too.

Ryson, let me ask you this, if Andrea Yates killed five children when she drove her car through a red light, would you still recommend the death penalty? You sound half-way intelligent (which for me is a major compliment for someone from Texas) I think you know where I'm going with this.

If she did not have the mental capacity (much like Monk) to know what she was doing, should the penalty be the same. I think the jury thought she was insane but could not let her off based on that defense. So they compromised.

Your avoiding the question. I think your blocking. Why to Cloridians (writers license) go to the trouble of making up bumper stickers asking Texans to go home? Is is something in the water down there.

Mr. Eddie you avoided my question also, personally I don't ski in CO on a regular basis so I couldn't tell ya, I prefer to play where I ski and vice versa, wonderful snow in Tahoe. To be quite frank I would not buy land or move to CO, nice place to visit but would never live there. Here is my deal, I have a little land in Northern CA and a little land in Southern TX. My goal is this.......spend the summers in CA and winters in TX and let my grandkids run around both places, what more could you ask for? Leave it to Eddie to stir the stuff:D , you are OK by me man, IMHO the beauty of the great USA is that we have an open forum to differ on issues. That is what the gosh darn United States of America is all about. BTW: TX vs. Ore = under 161.5 all day long.

take care and GLTA

I luv the northern California deal, my favorite part of the planet. I think I'd pass on south Texas though. But then again, I assume you're from that part of the country. Home is home. I've never skied in Tahoo but have left a few chips at the tables. Considering my table game abilities, I can't afford a ski trip coupled with a gambling trip. One or the other.

I hope when you mature, you will come around to the educated, civilized way of thinking regarding the Yates case. You have potential. God I love being a scumsucking, loathesome, lawyer from Ohio.

Spoken in true lawyer form. Don't spin the truth, you're only solidifying my point.

I can only assume that you sleep at night in spite of all the repellent you're spewing right now.

Thank goodness it was a jury trial she had, otherwise she just may be walking the streets right now putting more innocent lives at risk.

Eddie Haskell, unwittingly or not, is this week's poster boy for lawyer bashing. Stand small, stand low, Eddie. You've earned it.

Now go out there and make us proud!

Haskell, two things! Colorado folks have that particular sticker because there are so many vacationers from Texas! It's a bigger state than those others, also alot closer, So most Texans drive to the Rockies which has there license plate proudly plastered on the bumper! Allowing people to see where they are from hence more people from Texas can be identified as to where they are from! Other people fly into Denver and Rent a Car, WIth a Colorado license plate on it, Oh the uneducated showed a little reasoning! Plus I lived in Colorado!

The second thing is you jackass, never attack the credibility of my education! I graduated from the Top of my class at Auburn University. So with that being said, Who the hell said anything about killing crazy people? Not me, I said Criminals! You know those people that you help go free everyday! Probably get drug dealers off too don't you! Maybe one day one of em will mug you and you'll change your mind. Have you ever had someone put a gun to your head? I have it makes you change your point of view, For 30.00 I almost got my ass killed by some 18 year old punk with a gun, who I'm sure probably has killed someone by now! And have you ever been Robbed? I have, I have no tolerance for criminals and Asses like you let em go back to the streets! Hell yeah kill em all and let the law abiding folks live in peace!

And one more thing, when your in court do you attack witness' on the grounds of where they are from? or their education? That shows weekness in your argument when you do chit like that!

I guess I should say something negative about your state but I don't bash folks with kindergarden type mentality ( I am not but you are, No you are, No you are, you got cooties ). But I will leave you with this, Texas and Alabama are not filled with dumb gun toating hillbillies, they are here, but that aint how life is here Pal! Just becasue you watched Deliverance and was turned on by the Ned Beaty scene don't mean the Dirty AZZ South is all about that! Sorry to dissapoint you!

Fel:

Its no spin. I should have realized you are unable to distinguish the point from the hypothetical question. I will try to spell this out for you like I would to my 11 year old.

If Yates killed five kids because she negligently ran a red light, I assume you would not want her to receive the death penalty but, rather some prison term. Why? Because she did not mean to kill the five children but rather did so because she was inattentive or for some other acceptable, albeit horrendous, reason. Society can live with that.

It is conceivable Andrea Yates, and Susan Smith for that matter, did not and could not appreciate what they were doing. Although not an exact analogy, the required intent is not there. Frankly, the death penalty for individuals such as these two satisfies societys need to punish this horrendous event. I think once they realuze what they have done, is a far more tougher penalty to these very sick people.

Well Mr. Eddie let me talk your speak, it would all have to do with mitigating circumstances...........right. IMHO: Eddie you are comparing apples to oranges here.... running a red light does not compare to killing your kids. You have to come stronger than that bro.:nono:

Dear BF:

Top of your class at Auburn, huh? I guess thats sufficent commentary on the quality of education in the SEC. Alabama is known for the quality of education emanating from that state.

I really don't think the people of Colorado place Texans go Home bumper stickers on there cars because there are a lot of people from Texas traveling in Colorado. You and I both know why there on there bumpers. Because, in general, Texans are loud, obnoxious, hillbillies.

Finally, Blue, may I call you Blue? If you want to avoid the stereotypical description of the good ole boys from the south, with 4, tobacco stained teeth, lynryd skynrd blasting out of the radio, kkk, with the #3 halo'd bumper sticker on the backwindow of the F-150 pickup with the gun rack, stop writing posts like your last one.
