ageecee, I just can't stop thinking about how right you are. How does a team like Army that basically never passes. Drives down the field against the only team on the schedule that really matters....haven't beaten this team in a DECADE.....
2nd and 6 from their 24.....down by only 6....and you decide to throw the ball. Then it becomes 4th and 7 and you run a very basic option play.
At least run some variation of it. An option counter.....option reverse......QB draw would have been better than that. I was thinking some form of a halfback pass might work, put the guy in motion and pitch it wide, then let him throw it.
I know they hate to rely on the old forward pass, but come on, Navy knows this too. Just awful.
