How good is New England?

NE is a big public favorite laying alot of points on the road against a team with a great offense but poor defense. NE seems like an easy pick considering Bengals can't stop anybody, but is NE really that good. They beat Jets, Bills and Chargers, who to date, are 3 of the worst teams in the NFL. In the meantime, the Bengals just came off a very tough loss on the road against Seattle, a game in which they could've won, Pats have not even come close to playing a game as tough as at Seattle. Seems like tonight is upset alert.

It's never easy. Pats could cover the number, but I like the points.

I despise betting on Monday Night games. One game on card and alot of action from those who lost $ on the weekend. Goodluck

Why aren't you telling everyone to bet big on Cincy? I mean New England certainly fits the bill of your Joe Public, right?

You should be all over the Bungles in this spot!

Work
I am not going to call upset alert but I like the home dog. In refrence to last years MNF game between the BEARS/CARDINALS. The public was all over the BEARS because they were playing the Cards which were horrible. The Bears ended up winning but did not cover on the road.

Bengals 17 Pats 21

Even though I hate NE, I'll admit they're a damn good football team. DAMN good, and on both sides of the ball.

However, I'll be on the Colts November 4th in Indianapolis. The line will be -3 or -4. :D

As for tonights game, toss a coin and bet it that way :)

After thinking about this game, I think NE will match or exceed their usual 38 and could blow out Cincy. I know it is a public play but NE and the Over is the only way to go.

lets look at the current RPI ratings for NFL teams......we see that NE is #17 and Cincy is #18......opponents winning pct for NE is .257 and for Cincy it is .543.......opponent's opponents winning pct is .476 for NE and .512 for Cincy........and strength of schedule is .330 for NE and .533 for Cincy..........this game looks very close and for a Monday night home dog that opened at +7 and has now been bet up to +9 at Bodog.......well I have to take the points

For me it is NE or nothing. Very blue collar approach to every game. Brady will tear this defense apart. Cincy will "hang in there" for awhile, but the creme will rise to the top for an easy cover in the end. Cincy defense is horrible, look what Cleveland did to them. Brady is a surgeon an he will show that tonight. Joe public gets a bone tonight. Gl2A

My gut tells me to take the Bungles and the points, being a huge home dog. But my head is reminding me just how damn awful the Cincy defense really is. Hell, the Browns hung mega points on this scrub squad and you know Brady and Moss will air it out early and often.

I'm not sold on the Pats defense cause they havent been tested to date. Jets, Bills and even the Chargers suck offensively and sh it the bed.

Possible play on the over... havent pulled the trigger yet.
