Almost twice as hot as the sun!!

Do they really have machines that hot? If so what do they do? What materials could possibly hold that kind of heat? :com:

England, u.k.
273 kelvins is 0 centergrade. Every increase by one kelvin from that point is an increase of one in centergrade.

eg: 300 kelvin is 27 centergrade

1,000 kelvin is 727 centergrade

10,000 kelvin is 9,727 centergrade.

THAT IS UCKING HOT

I just took new job with ADM. The machines are used to analyze all the soybeans and oils that come in and out of the plant. Soon after Thanksgiving we will open one of the first biodiesel plants in the US. Once everything is on line and running we will be producing 30,000,000 gallons per year. The machines inject samples of the fuel into the high heat, and can determine the amount of trace metals in the sample.
