How in the hell do you edit Avatar?

I'm attempting to put a jpeg image on my Avatar, but it will only allow me to pick from the list of what is there @ mj's? Anyone have any clue? Thanks- Dr.

u have to request whatever you want, Guido, and there are limitations relative to how many posts you have.
