HOW IS UCONN A PICKEM?

i rarely post on big east ball but was surprised to see uconn a pickem game vs. syracuse.
having done this for a few years, so i'd bet the orangemen on principle but was curious if anyone was slightly surprised by this line.

i think public will bet this HARD, taking uconn.

it is now UConn -1.5, it was getting hit hard at a PK, I thought that line looked weird, but it looks like they have adjusted it some, I wouldn't be surprised to see this line hit -3 tommorrow

-3 @ -2 respectively. If the line opened with a pickem looks like LV wants UCONN money. I'd rather be on their side. If I had to make play on this it would be Syracuse ...

the fact that syracuse isnt favored is a little surprising to me. uconn has played two road games all year and looked very mediocre in both of them. they're a terrific team on paper, but they're hardly a road juggernaut. was expected syracuse to be -1.5 or -2

UConn has always played well at the Dome, even when they wern't so good years ago. I use to have season tix to SU living an hour away. I'll be on Uconn tonight. Good Luck tonight

I've noticed that the last 2 games featuring a ranked road team and an unranked home team that vegas opened as a pk'em, the road team has narrowly pulled out both.

NC @ VT opened at a pk........closed at a pk (for me anyway)
NC by 3

OU @ A&M opened at a pk.....closed at A&M -1.5
OU by 1

UCONN @ Cuse opened at a pk......closed ?????

I would probably play the Cuse if they had opened as the fav, but I'll probably pass and see if this trend continues. If anyone has past #'s that fall into this situation, I would love to see them.

UCLA & Washington opened at a pk against unranked Oregon & Cal.
