My wife is all over me to have another child. Im 36 years old as is my wife. We have a 5 yr old son. I always wanted a son and I guess kinda figured we were done. Is 5 years too big of gap? I also don't want to be dead and buried before I can see my children grow to a ripe old age...Also have to think about the financial aspect. Anyway, give me some opinions boys...

Thanks.

Mully

I'm 37 and got a 4 years and 1 year old boy. Wife asked me the same last year but i feel too old to start all over again and recently, she told me that 2 was enough... ;) Wait.. you'll see.. She will change her mind!!! Dont forget the $$$ factor...

Good luck anyway! :)

I'm 27, my dad is 63, so he was 36 and he's doing just fine. I also was 5 years younger than my sister and we are pretty close today. Probably not as close as if we had been 2 or 3 years, but it also could have been since she wasn't the same sex and the age difference probably helped some with fighting.

Just know the risks of Down Syndrome and things like that increase dramatically for a pregnancy at your wife's age.

just adpot a 17 year old left handed pitcher from cuba or something. make sure he throws above 95.

or adopt a 17 year old beautiful philliapino woman.

or seriously, just have another kid. i have a sister who is 11 years younger than me and we are our only siblings. besides the fact i keep reminding her she must have been a mistake, its great and no problems. i'm low 30's and we have a one year old and we want one more at least. 35 isn't too old.

just make sure you don't have triplets

Major concern is your health...

Will you be fit 10-15 years from now when that youngster needs you at every event..every game ..Little League..Pony League....AAU BALL...CITY LEAGUE..MALL TRIPS..CAMPING TRIPS..Family Vacations..PTA meetings..parent teacher conferences..Midget LEAGUE FOOTBALL..High School Football..Baseball..Basketball..Ring Dance..Prom..Homecoming..

Consider The age progression..

6-1 ......10-5........15-10......18-13..

buy some good rollerskates...and a great laptop....you'll need them...

BEST OF LUCK MULLY..

35 is in no way to late to have a kid in todays age.

45 you have to think long & hard, but 35 nothing to think about.....especially for a guy since we dont go through the phyiscal strain of carrying the child for 9 months & poppin it out.

Well I tell ya, I am 32 and have not even started yet and plan on having 3,

like they say....

after the 1st two, you'll change your mind

btw

I wouldn't wait till I'm any older. A lot of things get harder to do the older you get. Unless, of course, your Spanish. They can have kids till they're 80.

I'm 34, wife 35 got a 16 yo, 4yo, and a 2yo. I miss the time when they are babies, but they sap the energy out of my wife and I. We mulled it over, decided to call it quits. But you are definitely not too old. GL
