my cat had 3 kittens this past saturday..... the first one died on monday, the second one yesterday morning, and the last one yesterday afternoon. (by research we have figured out that she wasn't producing enough milk to feed them, and in my stupidity, i thought all their meowing and moving around meant they were strong rather than that they were slowly starving to death

she is looking everywhere for them... wandering around the house trying to get into any drawer, cabinet, and peeking under everything with space under it. i feel so bad for her. want to say that i've heard 48 hours for an animals memory...does anyone know for sure?
