I know a few...

"For six days work may be done, but on the seventh day you shall have a holy day, a sabbath of complete rest to the LORD; whoever does any work on it shall be put to death." Exodus 35:2

"As for your male and female slaves whom you may have-- you may acquire male and female slaves from the pagan nations that are around you." Leviticus 25:44

"If a man sells his daughter as a female slave, she is not to go free as the male slaves do." Exodus 21:7

Buddy...This isnt a knock against you. Why would you want to memorize verses?

Just curious.

First and foremost, it helps me to stay focused on Jesus. Also, when talking with others who are suffering, hopefully I can quote a verse from scripture which provides more comfort and hope than anything I could possibly think of. It's not something clever or glib. It's the divinely inspired word of God.

Business verse

I had a very good friend who owned a retail business.

Shaun was very helpful and loved dealing with people.

After 5 years dealing with the chowderheads known as "the public", he gave me an outstanding biblical thought on it...

Shaun, verse 1......on dealings with the retail public..

"F*ck em till YOU bleed"
