Funny thing about the internet these days...lawyers find a way to find out EVERYTHING about a person. If a decent lawyer put half a billable hour into it (and then sent his assistant to do the hard work), they'd find anything they wanted about someone. And what they can't find, a PI can. This poses as another interesting question. Can what you write on a forum be admissible in court? Will have to look it up. Would seem to me that a judge would not accept this as evidence as it would be easy to call it bs. What the hell do I know though?? It definitely can raise some suspicion and have you followed and later caught though.

I was looking up some things people had written on forums and in most cases I found the judge did not accept it but that'snot saying they won't and you obviously would know more than me..

I can only imagine a great afternoon sitting around PRO's place. After getting done snow-mobiling on some bad ass new machines, stop in the house for some cold ones and catch the afternoon game. Going Gone is so glad he gets to hang in PRO's presence that instead of just looking across the room and saying "hey man, great call on the early game, glad I tailed you and made some $", he has to run over to PRO's computer, log on to MadJacks and tell him in his thread 'thanks'.

As I recall, after pro's little identity crisis he went on a self imposed Madjack's hiatus that lasted for quite some time. Possibly even a year or two but clearly not long enough. But we have learned that he was a superstitious hockey goalie. I cling to that enlightening fact to this day because, hey, you just know that it has to be true.

Pro is disturbed to the point that he actually makes Hedgie look like a well balanced member of society.

Actually, this is a solid argument that I've not been presented with or presented on behalf of one of my clients. If I understand you correctly, your argument is Hedgie is just an internet persona and not the TRUE Hedgie, which actually could work, by simply bringing in his ACTUAL girlfriend, who we all know looks nothing like Eva. Hedgie would have to suck it up and admit it was all a schtick, including the many women he was sleeping with and getting his swagger back. This may be a difficult sell, but may establish that all his posts are fantasy with only limited truth applied to each.

The evidence would still be admitted, but the Court could weigh how much significance they would attribute to these posts by his persona.
