On the course!
I've been wondering about this. We live in a time when cash has proven to be the Great American Band-Aid. Just pony up, and all of my problems will be gone.

Well, how many folks are going to cash in on this latest fiasco?

Who would you sue besides the idiot who commited the crime?

Suing the theater is lame. WTF were they supposed to do to prevent this?? The theater has no fault in this at all.

Sounds too much like a Penn State issue for me so I am out on the theater's culpability on this but someone is going to sue that theater...........you can bank on that.

There was already some dude who started the ball rolling. He didn't even get shot! His friend did, so HE is in therapy now for the trauma. He is suing the theater, Warner Bros. (For making violent movies....such as the one he just had to be the first to see), and who knows who else????

The thing is, there are now news reports that the police themselves were begging for more and more ambulances, and they weren't dispatched for 30 minutes.

Also, you have the supposed notebook the killer sent his professor, that sat in his mail slot at the university for a week, and it detailed his plan for killing.

So, now you have municipality, and state agencies you can zero in on.

Here is how you stop that stupid shit in my opinion, you simply find someone injured or, sadly, deceased and his family should name the kid that is suing in their lawsuit as failing to supply aid. The Good Samaritan law. Name his ass in a lawsuit and see how fast he gives up the bullshit lawsuit. JMO

My guess is that they are suing the:

gun maker
theatre chain
Warner Bros
shooter
Hollywood the actors guild
