How many sirens do you hear each day?

Not counting the other imaginary noises / voices you may hear, just the actual sound a legitimate emergency vehicle type siren.

I'm 11 miles outside of Pittsburgh and I think a fair estimate would be one per hour.

Very, very rare that I hear a siren at my house. I would say 3 times a year on average.

2-3 a week. Generally fire-rescue as the road I live on lends itself to accidents. I have personally had 3crashes in my front yard, not sure if one made it.

Many, many low income and elderly in my area. Mostly ambulances which is understood, but police stay busy as well. Coupla' days ago, Dollar General was held up at gunpoint (Oh Lord, not the DG!) Chief caught the culprit under the bridge with a pellet gun ("Ha HA! Caught you! C'mon outta' there, you rascal!" Rumor has it those were the chief's exact words)

i do pretty well...the sirens i seldom hear...but,i`m occasionally badgered by the fruit on the wallpaper(when i forget to take the meds)...

if I'm in my house, rarely do I hear one. If I'm out in the community at all, probably 3 a day.
