It appears UNT has just installed the new-fangled turf - FieldTurf or another brand.
These are some other squads that have installed this type of new surface this season: Oregon St., Wyoming, Eastern Michigan, Navy, and Marshall.
I can only think of a few teams that still play on the old stuff - Middle Tenn. St., Kent St., Idaho, Rice, and Texas Tech.
