FYI - Kinder is a big "family values" Republican and was one of the leaders in the effort to get a marriage amendment on the ballot in Missouri in 2004. Given the rumors that have swirled around Kinder, the Missouri GOP is probably relieved that his chief of staff got caught hitting on a girl.

JEFFERSON CITY | The chief of staff for Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder is facing pornography charges.

Kinder aide Eric Feltner has been charged with two misdemeanor counts of attempting to furnish pornographic materials to a minor.

A probable cause statement from a Jefferson City police officer says Feltner believed he was contacting a 13-year-old girl over the Internet ? but that person really was an undercover officer. He is accused of graphically discussing masturbation on two occasions last year.

Feltner did not immediately return messages left today at his office or various personal phone numbers.

Kinder?s office also did not immediately return a message.
