agreed. there is quite a difference between a high scoring game because of great offensive play as opposed to a high scoring game because of horrific (and sloppy) defense.
the new jersey/phoenix game was great offense.
this is horrible defense
the phoenix game had modest free throw totals (just 27 for phoenix and 31 for new jersey in 2 overtimes)
tonight, its 30 free throws for the lakers and (gasp) 55 for washington in a single OT
