With 40 seconds left in the game, the score was 101 - 96

That is 197. Yes 197 with 40 seconds. OK so the Kings foul here.

That seems reasonable. But the next 6 fouls ? To just push it past

the OVER ? Come on ! People ! This was the biggest blatant

throw of a game in the playoffs yet. If you would have told me

that 15 points in 40 secs would happen I would have laughed !

The last 3 fouls were in NO WAY GOING TO AFFECT THE OUTCOME!

It is true I was on the under (which should have won) but the

whole damn world was on the OVER. Thank you Rick and the

Kings I am sure between your team and 100's or 1000's of friends

they cashed in !

The NBA IS RIGGED !

You bet your sweet ass it is !

What about the two un-contested lay-ups? We had the right call for the game but the wrong call for the money. There was a lot of under money out there but not at Jack's. We'll get them today. Good luck

Hmm...considering they scored 119 pts in the first half...and teams down 6-8 pts with under two minutes left generally play the 'foul, get a quick layup, foul, layup..etc" game the rest of the way where tons of points are scored in final minute..not to mention it's the conference semifinals..teams aren't just going to throw in the towel down 8 with a minute left...of course Sacramento is going to keep trying to score and foul if it is within 6 (a two possession game) and not much time left when anything can happen.

But let's get back to the 119 pts in the first half...if the total/game was rigged, why would they go out and put up a huge number like that in the first half? What sense would that make? That answer would be: none.

Feel your pain

Feel your pain

Gentlemen, as one who has been on your side of this fence, I too at times have marveled at these occurances. I was amazed to see the "over" hit last night ( I was fortunately on the correct side). I had marked it off in the loss column with the 40 seconds to go. The only question I have is... who were the participants in the FIX? Sacremento? They missed some free throws during that last minute, some of the players that missed are 80% FT shooter. As a result of their misses, it kept the game within 2 possessions, thus allowing Sacremento to justify their continued fouling... second scenario, Dallas is in on the fix...what do they gain? The refs... the fouls were obvious... As with the O.J. Simpson conspiracy, there are just to many factors that have to occur to make the case... just my 2 cents.
Any thoughts on tonights games? I like the dogs myself.

I can't explain why games would be fixed for an over /under, but I honestly believe (meaning I am not whining or making excuses for losing last night) that at the end of games that are decided, players are made aware of a line in one way or another, and do their best to get a certain outcome. Example: Charlotte /Orlando game 5...I got the total at 187.5. the two teams combine for 5 points in the last 3 minutes..The most blatant effort to make a game under that I ever saw. I watched Charlotte commit 2 or 3 24 second clock violations and Orlando hoist up 3 three pointers, that didn't hit the rim and one that hit the back of the cylinder.. Example 2: The mysterious foul at the end of the Boston/philly game 5 that put Coleman on the line that enabled the push. I have re-watched the end of that game and the referee called the foul without seeing any Boston player touch the Philly player. There was no foul if you watch closer. Anyway, can these games be fixed a little during garbage time ? My two cents is yes. If someone asked me why, I would say some of these players are greedy, stupid, and when they are losing late in the game and are disheartened or pissed, it may be their way of getting something back when they feel cheated about some calls in the game. These players are always crying about this call or that call. Sound dumb? Maybe. But what better way to make yourself feel better at the end of a game then by cheating the NBA and fans of the games integrity for money.

guys if you really think nba players and refs are concerned about a total or side during a playoff game i suggest not to wager your money on it. i have wagered millions over the years on nba games and not once have i thought a game was fixed-now have i thought why in the hell was this called or why did aplayer do this-thinking a player has money or a interest on a total or side is not reality but good handicapping is. things happen because they happen. now i took the over last night for alot-was i lucky, was the game fixed- or did i cap the game right- my pocketbook says the later- jmho by the way who do you guys like today in these fixed games

Thunder....

Thunder....

I do agree with your reasoning here. The fact that you have wagered millions to my tens of thousands is the proof. To be honest besides JT Sneaks there is absoultely no one better in NBA than you. I am not ass-kissing here as many would say. I am just adult enough to respect and realize someone who is GREAT !

Good Luck to all tonight...

Just in case you want to know who I like tonight...

Just read THUNDERS's plays I am pigging backing him tonight !

The key to successful NBA handicapping to be on the right side of the fix.

That's right! You've got to cap the fix. Which side is more likely to fix. Which players have extravagant lifestyles that may be causing financial problems. Which players have had addiction problems in the past. If you can find a player with both, that's a capper's goldmine!!!

Whether a game is fixed or not is just another capping variable. same as injuries, home court, etc.

There's always a winning side....it's the capper's job to find it. To those of you who took the under.....Webber has a history of taking money. He's a fix possiblity. Steve Nash needs money for a haircut, maybe he's in on it. We know Shawn Bradley has game...why hasn't he shown up yet? All these are very provocative questions....these possibilities must be accounted for before placing a wager. Hope this helps.
