How to figure out combinations?

Hey gang

Is there an easy way to figure out how many 3 team combinations, parlays, there are if you are using 10 teams? Or how many 7 team combinations if you are using 15 teams? Is there some kind of an online calculator that would help with this? Thanks in advance. Frisky

The only thing I know is on 2 team combinations. If you have 6 teams and you want to round robin them, then this is what you do.

Take 6 and multiply by the previous number which would be 5 and divide by 2. This may work for 3 team parlays if you divide by 3...but may want to check it. For example:

6 Teams round robin into 2 team parlays = 15 plays
(6 x 5 = 30 / 2 = 15)

4 Team round robin into 2 team parlays = 6 plays
(4 x 3 = 12 / 2 = 6)
