My friend has a 1999 4WD Chevy Blazer which needs towed about 50 miles.

We do not have the owners manual.

We've been told flatbed only, others have said flatbed is not necessary.

I have the VIN # but dealership people are out to lunch.

Anyone have experience with towing this vehicle?

Thanks.

Used this when I first got into repoing and it helped alot. Now with as many as I do I know how to do them all. AWD like Mountaineers are a bitch though.

Hope this helps

Buddy,
If the Blazer has a manual transmission you can pretty much "tow" it any way you wish. If its an automatic, I'd suggest a rollback because without the engine running, the transmission pump is also not running and you will destroy an automatic in short order.
Why does it need towed anyway? Is this your friends daughter who shouldn't have been pulled over a few weeks ago?
In all seriousness..... tell me the symptom (if its a no start/running problem) and I'll "fix it over the phone" for ya.
Otherwise.... you can always pray....
