Season 2-0
Dogs 1-0
Favorites 1-0
ML 0-0
All plays to win 1 Unit
Wisconsin GB +3
I will go with the dog here despite the fact that UWGB lostTillema, who was basically their offense last season. UWGB shoots the 3 ball very well. UAB lost a lot and I think they have talent, but it will take a few OOC games for them to find their roles.
Drexel +5.5
St Joe's lost Nivins who basically played every meaningful minute for them last season. I almost always take the dog in an early season rivalry/close proximity matchup of two teams who are pretty close talent wise.
Purdue -21
Northridge gave Memphis a 1st round scare in the tournament last year, but a lot of that talent is gone. Mels, Jenkins, and Townsend have moved on. Purdue has a great Junior class who I felt underachieved a bit last year. This is a final 4 team in my opinion.
USD PK
A Pac-10 school traveling down the coast to play a lowly WCC school and it's a Pick? Too good to be true? Yep. Stanford says good bye to Goods, Hill, and Johnson. Those 3 seniors led the Cardinal to a 10-0 start last season. USD loses big man Pomare, but their true star Brandon Johnson was granted an extra year of eligibility. I really love Bill Grier as a coach. Think he gets the most from his players and always has a strong game plan. This one is my favorite play of the day, but I am going all 1 Unit picks until conference play.
Might add a few more later.
