I may be a little "thick" as Muff Diver (there is a name that inspires intelligence and dignity), but I haven't heard this addressed. Maybe it has so someone can enlighen me.
How many people will now be covered that were not previously covered? 5 million? 10 Million? 20 million? 50 million?
Can someone tell me where the doctors will come from to handle the influx? How long does the average patient wait to get an appointment now? How long do you have to wait at the doctor's office before he/shje sees you now? What is going to happen when millions more have access?
I doubt that many people will be flooding the med schools if this takes place and would guess that some doctors would retire faced with this onslaught. But I guess the politicans have it figured out.
Where will they come from?
