Ole Miss +3 & +135 ML
posted in the wrong forum the other day but absolutely love this spot for Ole Miss.
Very talented team. Warren will be the best guard on the floor tonight. Nova struggled defending the 3 vrs Dayton and Ole Miss can shoot it themselves pretty good. Warren has great range and if Nova wants to press, the Rebels will invite it and showed they could handle it the other day vrs Kansas State making some big transition 3's after breaking their press.
Fisher will not be blowing by Warren like he did to Daytons guards. Warren is very fast and can play spectacular defense. The team as a whole did a great job limiting Clemente from Kansas St, who I would say is a better scorer than anyone on this Nova team.
I still think Nova is severely overrated and should not be ranked as high as they are.
If Ole Miss has a weakness its post D, but I really dont think Nova poses a big threat to dominate them inside. The guys that Miss does have inside are athletic and can block some shots.
Terrico White is a great compliment to Warren and can do it all from shoot the 3 to posterize a big man in the lane.
If Reynolds gets stuck guarding White, this matchup will be exploited big time and probably force Nova into some zone as they wont be able to matchup with their guards on D.
Polynice and Holloway are very good as well, this is a very balanced team and they are very athletic.
From the games I have seen them play, I am very impressed and this will be a very tough team to beat this season. I know its early but I can see Ole Miss making a big tournament run in March. They have a great group of players, a few stars, and they are very well coached.
