Things are really odd in the NBA right now. I just don't understand some of the goings on.
For example: Can anyone answer me this riddle???
-How can Denver play Detroit on Monday
-Without Hardaway
-With McDyess only scoring 1 pt in 25 minutes
-And end up with 91 pts for the game
THEN
-Last night, go out against the Wiz (who ave. give'n up 1 more point per game than Detroit)
-Have McDyess score 17 pts in 22 minutes
-Howard & Hardaway end up with 6 & 2 respectively
-And basically lay down
The Nuggets needed to suit their mascot "Rocky" up after he hit an over-the-back, mid-court shot with that MJ autographed ball!!
What a pathetic effort by Denver's starting five....like the Nuggets announcer said, "It's not that they're not on the same page, they aren't even in the same book!"
The Nugget players oughta at least donate last night's paychecks to charity to take away the guilty feelings of larceny.
How can you handicapp when a team is just going to flat out QUIT????
