Playing these for a few reasons...
ATL without Chipper healthy does not impose a huge threat offensively to me, and with Clemens on the hill, can't see ATL getting more than 2 or 3 at best. The Killer B's however have been Killing Bankrolls for the past few years in the postseason by not getting one clutch hit when needed. Even though the B's now include Berkman, Biggio, Beltran, and Bagwell, Carlos is playing in his first ever postseason, and he may be pressing a bit. After all, it was his name on the chopping block AGAIN had HOUSTON not made their huge run a few weeks back. I see this one ending 3-2 in a tight one.... not picking a winner, you decide that!
NY is NY.... nuff said. They've done this so often and as noted, SANTANA had none of his offspeed stuff last night, so RADKE will fare any better with his assorted junk?? I doubt it... YANKS hit the fastball well last nite, and with RADKE on the hill, many more will be hit tonite. I think the YANKS do their usual, lose one, sweep three and it all starts tonite in a huge win. 7-2 is my predicted score, I'd bet the OVER but I'm not sure of more!
ANGELS +130 at home with their ace on the hill??? :scared Bartolo carried this team pitching wise down the stretch and I see no reason why he won't again. PEDRO is not as effective as CURT this year, and I think with his ego he will press to prove a point ( I should be the #1 Guy here!) and will get hit and hit hard. VLAD got the jitters out of his system yesterday and will launch at least one tonite of Martinez. ANGELS won it all two years ago with backs against the wall, and I'm sorry, I'm not old enough to remember when BOSTON last did that. SOX win here, it's :sadwave: ANAHEIM, so I think you'll see the Home Boys step up tonite and tie up this series. Predicted score: Angels at least one more than Boston! :142lmao:
