Gee no probs on Palin posts--all of a sudden we get touchy on Gumby's Roots. Wasn't referring to broken home was referring to his "american" family--believe they are all in kenya are here illegally except maybe a sister.

on my family history-
both grandparents farmers of german decent
both had large families.
My father started work at a shoe factory and had small farm -bout 7 acres and built our 1st house by himself after he got off work (except laying foundation) in the year I was born. He later went to work at chrysler and when he saved enough to pay his siblings off for their part of family farm (300 + acres) he retired to farming. Is 86 and still farms but knees wearing out..
His education level was 8th grade mothers was 10th grade--she never worked for most part.
Had 6 uncles all served in miltary except 1-as did my father.I have 1 brother one sister--brother and I both were in service and went to school afterwards--with no loans or help from parents--have one nephew-he was in iraq and currently an army recruiter.
--and thank you for asking--was nice reminiscing on this 4th of july as all above served in time of war except my brother who was in germany.
