I just noticed that after almost every play of this Colorado State debacle, I am chuckling to myself and going "Unbelieveable".


How can a team be fooled on every single play?? Do you have to play defense like a basketball team against Navy??? Man up?? I just cant believe that a real team cant play with these guys.......

Oh, thats because they dont play "real" football in the Mountain West.....LOL, my mistake

I know what your saying. I had Army +6 on a HUGE parlay against Navy and we all saw what happened there.

BUT, at the same time, its great. The reason is very simple. Navy is playing REAL football. Option, misdirection, deception, etc. Thats what football is. They also have more speed than you might think.
Most teams just have stupid guys with speed and talent, and run basic offense and defense. Anyone can do that if they can get recruits.
Real football is awesome to watch. If there wasn't so much money involved everywhere, you'd see a much better brand of football across the nation. Go Navy!

OK, I cant say I know any Utes, but if I see one I will tell them their brand of football is lame. I think once you get west of the Mississippi, they were never taught how to play defense. Defense gets progressively better the further east you go......Mountain West and PAC 10, no defense, Big 12......gets a little better. Big 10, ACC and SEC, they play defense......

And no, last years Utah team was far from great......when you get to play teams like Colorado State all year long, yea you are going to win them all if you have just a couple NFL talents........Not to mention they got a free pass in the Fiesta Bowl playing the worst team to ever get an invite to the BCS.........

A good running game that occasionally sets up a play-action pass to a wide open receiver is a thing of beauty to watch....as long as you didn't bet against them I guess.

ET4646, I suppose, if that is your view. However, Count how many skill positions are filled in the NFL from players from Michigan, Ohio State, Miami FL, and Florida State ALONE, and I think you will have your answer as to whether they play offense out east.

Where is the offense out east? I can find alot of western defensive players in the NFL, it does not mean a thing. I think I'm just sick of hearing this ridiculous statement. I will concede that there is better defense played out east if all of you guys from the ** and east admit that the offense is better out west

I challenge you to name me 5 dominant defensive players from a western college in todays game. And mean dominant.....because I can name quite a few dominant players on the offensive side of the ball from the east
