St Louis roll into Milwaukee, to play the lowly Brewers.

There is no way in hell that the Brewers will sweep the Cards, and in fact....they could be swept again!

If you play the Cards on a "double up" basis, you will win money.

I would not normally recommend such a play, but you tell me how St Louis doesn't win a game in this series?

Usually don't agree with the Double up (Martigale) system, but in this case I have to agree with you. With Milwaukee's pathetic 1-5 home record, the Cards are bound to win one.

But I would caution that if this is your plan do it with a small wager. If the Brewers win the first 3 games game 4 will be very unenjoyable, and all you will do is question this stratigy, whilel you place your final wager. :nono:

If the Cards win game one, your ahead the same amount. Smile and walk away.

For what it's worth, just my opinion.

It means if the Brewers win tonight, bet twice as much tomorrow, and so on, until St Louis wins. It is a very dangerous way to wager, and I only say it to solidify my stance on the Brewers being pure horse shit right now.

THANKS

thats what i thought it meant but just needed the clarification...your right very dangerous, BUT i can't see MIL sweeping them either...I really like STL tonight, the only fear is that its only Kile's second start coming back from an injury...but if they lose I think your theory will work here...

Yeh, this one will probably work. (Cards up already in game one). But, as mentioned, for small or medium bucks only, as A wager like this one is truly the "ultimate chase " for you thrill seekers out there. Or, for those who boast a mega testosterone level, a true test of sac if you lose the first 3 games !! I remember making a ton of money in college with this angle.......we were all budding mathmaticians, ya know, & thought we were on to another Einstein theory. But, things just probably worked out that way in those particular years( I guess we call that luck) ......what we played those years just happened to avoid sweeps. And we had alot of first game winners. Also, we dealt with a true dime line back then, (sometimes less) cutting some $ loss. It was probably Just one of those years or two. This year may be different., who knows.......different angles perform for better or worse in diffeent years. Hope This Hits For You............THE HITMAN

Don't you think that...

Don't you think that...

St. Louis would have walked Sexson. Did he really need to drive in all 7 runs. Poor decision making! IMO

YOWSA!

Has anyone done the math? I am curious as toi what would need to be wagered tomorrow, if you started out to make $100?

I know St Louis was -165 in the opener, but I didn't see the line for yesterday, or today.

I would guess a pretty sizeable amount would need to be risked tomorrow!

(Don Lepree........where are you?)

Brewers are going to sweep. Been playing them the last couple of days.

-165 to win 100 = -165

-125 to win 265 = -331

-110 to win 596 = -656

That means you need to play to win 1252 on Sunday. Don't know what the line will be, but one would think you will have to lay chalk with the Smith vs. Neugebauer matchup.

Progressive bets are stupid under any circumstance, no matter how inept you think one team or another is.

yyz I take it that you did not make these plays... No offense but why post it if you were not playing it? You gave alot of people bad advice as I do on a daily basis but I play all my picks, and my record so people know what they are getting into. So they can fade my ass.

Smash,

I don't gamble anymore. As for giving people bad advice, you have to take any "tip" with a grain of salt. As I stated in the first post:

I would not normally recommend such a play, but you tell me how St Louis doesn't win a game in this series?

and in the second post:

It is a very dangerous way to wager, and I only say it to solidify my stance on the Brewers being pure horse shit right now.

And, no......this doesn't work in black jack, either.

Don't forget, there is still Sunday's game!
