The young pitchers all took their knocks last season, it's not like nobody has ever seen them before. Good stuff is good stuff! The team has played poorly the last few games, 7 guys have the flu including half the bullpen and Harvey the DH. Sweeney is in a slump and Beltran hasn't played a game yet. I am not going to get over excited about the 8-0 start. But I am excited that the team has alot of room for improvement offensively considering Sweeney, Beltran, and Harvey haven't all been healthy and clicking at the same time yet.
Cutting the payroll doesn't mean anything either, Neif Perez, Chuck Knoblauc, Jeff Suppan, and Roberto Hernandez were making about 11 million combined and they all sucked. The team has announced they will raise the payroll over 22 million the next three years to keep all the young players. You guys act like the team is just throwing all their talent out the window while they actually do have a plan in place.

Smash at this point I am all mouth I will still say this... After a good month or so scouting reports will be out on these young pitchers. Trust me enjoy April after this month it is all over for the Royals winning the Central. Sox win the Central by 5 games. One last thing smash please get my emai from jack. We need to talk
I guess Cleveland needs to get a better scouting report because Runeylvis just blanked them twice in 7 days.
Listen. If the Royals are even close to .500 by the end of May I would be shocked.... GI ve it some time Royals will get lit up down the road... I still can not understand all the rave about the royals none of you gave them a chance in Hell before the season. This thread was started on opening day and I never said they would win the central but they can be very competitve in a weak division.

It's easy for people to dog on a team that all the so-called experts predict to lose 100 games. One has to atleast give a team props that has had 17 players come down with the flu and continued winning on the road trip with 4 guys available out of the pen and a make shift lineup everyday.
Your gonna get your 50 dollars worth, this is why bookies should stick to being bookies and not predicting which team should be 10 games under 500 at the end of May.
