I didn't like that Penta ball at all

I don't have the game for that ball, that's for sure.

It magnified the 'bad shots' too much, and sent some drives spinning too far off line for my taste.

Played 9 holes with one, and gave it a heave.


ProV 1 or 1x for me.

I prefer the Callaway tour IS ball. Carries as long, if not longer, for me as the pro Vs and it reduces spin well off the tee. It also sticks like a pig in mud with the short irons.

Wanted to try the Penta but you may have talked me out of it.

used a Pro V1 for a 77 at an Arnold Palmer signature course here yesterday ... watch out, only 3rd round this year, may be back :lol:

Then it won't really matter what ball you use..
