about USC being the best team in the country after that game. I cannot believe they could not cover against that team. You would think with revenge and being embarrased last year, they would lay the wood, but no.

Their offense is average at best, solid defense, but nothing and I mean nothing special. Please do not start anymore bullshit threads about USC and how great they are playing. It is bogus and they are what they are, a pretty good football team

My buddy had LSU -6- (-120), so that one depends on what line you had. Don't disagree with you on many of the rest, just sick of hearing the USC nerds saying how great their team is right now. By the way, the Ohio St. loss at home to Illinois is not nearly as bad as losing as a 40 point fav. to Stanford.

If this team was "the best team in the country right now", they would have beaten UCLA by 30+

soory sc couldnt cover for ya, but that doesnt mean sc didnt control the game from beginning to end.

usc did what it set out to do before the game which is win.

they obviously aren't going to the title game, but they held a rival in a rivalry game to 7 points. carrol played conservative it seemed, but more do you want them to do.

they are a top 8 team which is what the bcs is.....

i don't even like usc, but they can beat anyone in the country and at the same time get beaten by anyone in the country. kinda like every other team this year. guess thats why there should be a playoff.

illinois is the 2nd best team in the big 10. why would that loss be bad. you are correct it doesn't even approach the usc loss to stanford. i'm a ucla guy, can't stand usc, but it sounds like you are an ohio state supporter. if west virginia and missouri can win, then you can have your say with the trojans. if i had to guess, usc would be 6 point favorites. you can cash in then i guess.

Definitely not an OSU guy. I am rooting for Mizzou even though I have a little money on Okie. Don't want to see OSU in there.

My team lost today as well, so not a good night:mj07:

Not too many Ohio St. fans down here in Vol country. We have a hard enough time putting up with Nole:mj07:
