the thing that is lost in all the SUPPOSED POWER JAMS...
takes a player willing to play D in order for it to look like something special..
there is nothing special about todays leapers and there ability to dunk a basketball..
what is amazing is these same players can't hit 6 out of 10 from the 12 foot range..
and even worse they have ZERO TOUCH

I also agree about the free throw shooting. It's such an easy shot, and these pros can't make it. Disgusting.
Personally, I never was a great jumper. I only dunked 3 times in games. :facepalm: I could hit free throws though :0074 I was also an excellent trash talker.

Knight was getting mauled on twitter from what I heard on SVP show today. Not sure why a guard would take any heat for rotating defensively and getting dunked on by one of the more explosive leaping big men in the game.

Consensus reaction from the ignorant masses on twitter is one of the worst things about social media. Deadspin had a good summary of idiots posting racist comments when ESPN was broadcasting the ESPN Deportes coverage of the World Baseball Classic on their regular channel this past weekend.

1988 I think, haha!! I didn't remember you seeing that? Through my lip and laid down on my tongue. I guess I'm fortunate I didn't lose those teeth. I just pulled them back in place with my fingers (painful), but they were fine after that :shrug:
I am, but I'm super competitive especially at basketball. I never started it unless there was history, but I sure gave it back. My best was when I went back and forth with a referee in a rec league game. I was 28 or 29, and I was leading the league in scoring. I was getting mauled as usual (I lived at the stripe), and I was getting no calls. I told the ref to watch this white hack that was pulling my jersey, so he called a foul on me the next time down the court when I made a super clean block off the ball. His gf was playing for WKU, so that's how he ended up in BG. I started calling him a point shaving punk, haha! I even asked his boss who was at the scorer's table why he had hired this point shaver. Dion didn't say anything else and called a pretty good game after that. He started it, I finished it for him.
