It seems like once a year theres a person who is just right about everything. And if a good point is made he responds to it by making 3rd grade comebacks like "That's the most idiotic statement" or "how dumb are you" instead of backing up arguements to prove his point. I think we've found the winner this year...

Hey jacknut...i did back up my comments...How many games as Rodgers missed in 3 years??? ONE.....Thats not a whole lot for being a GLASS JAW he is assumed to be....

Can't imagine being a Viking fan. Four Superbowl Losses. Five Conference Championship losses. Get sooo close last year with using Packers QB and team is getting older. Gotta be tough.:popcorn2

Thank you sir...Couldnt have sad it any better...Alot more fun being a Packer fan...Viqueens never have won anything....I get a kick out of these idiots saying Rodgers is only average against solid D's....LMAO.....He is the best QB in the league and he will do very well against Pitts secondary. We have a legitimate shot at a title for the nxt 10 years.....Minnesota when u win something important come talk to me.

I would agree that the Packers have chance to be pretty good for the next 10 years with Rodgers, if he lasts that long. I don't know if I'd call him a marshmellow, but these concussions are scary and serious. He very well might not last 10 years in the NFL.

On the course!
so once again, green bay doesn't have a shot to win the super bowl because Rodgers is a marshmellow? i may need to rethink my pick... :popcorn2

I'm not saying that at all. (No shot to win)

I'm saying be very cautious in your wagering Aaron Rodgers "over" props.

He could very well play the whole game and look like the All-Star he is!

Hey.....I like the fact GB is playing inside, on turf!

I hope they beat the snot out of Pittsburgh. I'm just not so sure that will be happening.

You can never have an objective conversation with Packer fans about their team and their players. It just does not happen..

YYZ is correct.. The Steelers should come after Rogers and hit em and hit em again.. I know that is every team's game plan but we do not know how well Rodgers will respond.. Rodgers is a good QB IMO but he looks good against weak teams. Against good defenses he looks a little above average. Not his fault he has not faced many above average defenses but the fact remains that in close games the Pack have a terrible win percentage.. Not a knock on Rodgers but just the way it is.

The Pack winning three road games in a row is great but Philly and Atlanta are very soft defenses.. If it wasn't for playing a slighlty above average Bears team last week the Pack don't stand a chance. The Bears offense is just anemic and the Pack's D bailed them out against Philly and the Bears. The BEARS.. Call me a homer but compared to last year's NFC's championship the last one was a bit watered down.

First off, not a fan of either team!!! I agree, Green Bay struggles against good D'S, Atlanta, and Philly had soft D'S. While Pitt had to go against Balt and Jets D'S(much better). Chicago has a better D than both Philly and Atl. but they are not as good as Pitt's D. Advantage Pitt. But Green Bay D face alittle better Offenses in Atl. & Philly but then struggled against Chicago's offense that is not good?( I wondered about that... then figured out Chicago knows this team well and went at GB's weaknesses.) Pitt has a better offense than Chic and will put way more pressure on GB's D than Chic did. I still think advantage Pitt. LeBeau is better than Cappers but I do worry taking Pitt because he was once a Pitt coach. It will be a good, close game, going with Pitt because They were just there 2 years ago(experience) and were able to keep in check AZ's offense for three quarters(Boldin and Fitzgerald) I think they will be able to do the same to Jennings and Driver. GL in whom ever you take!!

I know you are a homer and that is OK.. Rodgers is a hell of a QB but to say he is the best in the NFL is absolutely crazy and homerism at it's best. COngrats on getting to the Super Bowl but you have to admit it has been a watered down NFC.. Now GB is 50/50 to win the show and I think Rodgers can beat the Steelers corners. Will depend on protection as always.. So lets look at this years games..

@Philadelphia Won 27-20 Struglled first half but got better as the game won...

Buffalo Won 34-7 Horseshit D. T-Jack lit them up.

@Chicago Lost 17-20 Struggled

Oct 3 Detroit Won 28-26 Great first half.. Blew chunks in the second..

@Washington Lost 13-16 OT Bad game

Miami Lost 20-23 OT Struggled

Minnesota Won 28-24 Great first Quarter then he sucked the rest of the game..

@N.Y. Jets Won 9-0 I'll give him a break it was windy

Dallas Won 45-7 Good game/ Dallas gave up

@Minnesota Won 31-3 Great game. Vikes give up mode.

@Atlanta Lost 17-20 Had a good game. Redzone difficulties. Average D

San Francisco Won 34-16 Horseshit d

@Detroit Lost 3-7 Struggled first half then got bell rung

@New England Lost 27-31 DNP

N.Y. Giants Won 45-17 Great game

Chicago Won 10-3 Stuggled

Aaron Rodgers is a good player but struggles at times and by the above games it is against solid defenses. He does punish the soft one's but by far not the best QB in the league. The fact is that the Pack's defense has bailed em out of a lot of games and the best QBs win close ones.. JMO. I know this will enrage the homer in you..

Rodgers is going against a 3 -4 defense something he sees in practice everyday. The steelers secondary is their weakness. Teams that spread out this defense like patriots did against them put up huge passing yards same thing packers will do.Unless Rodgers gets hurt he will have huge passing day than you can caller steeler defense soft.

Nope won't call them soft at all and I think you maybe right about the game. If I am a Packer fan, I could not ask for a better place to play the Steelers on a neutral field? Are you implying that he does not struggle against solid defenses? Would you agree with the pooplayer that Rodgers is the best QB in the league..

He struggles against solid defenses like every nfl qb. I would put him in the top 3 list. When he struggles its against teams that bend but don't break where you have to have long sustained drives like the bears. He is much better against aggressive defenses where he gets alot of one on one matchups. If he had jermichael Finley against the bears he would also put up bigger numbers he was their cover 2 zone breaker.

Agree Finley was a big loss and lack of running game for most of the season didn't help him either.. Although now that I think of it, he had Finley for first game vs Bears..

I am trying to think if I can put him in my top 3..
Probably top 5 for sure..

If Rodgers can stay healthy for 60 minutes, this defense isn't going to make him sweat.

But I'm not confident in that being the case.

He will be able to dump passes off if he is pressured, and he is one of the best at hitting his guys down field.

Id like to know how you can sit here and say Matt Flynn is better then Charlie Batch or Byron Leftwich. Sorry but I don't buy into that one bit. The kid has started one game in the NFL in his career and prior to this season had only attempted 17 passes in the NFL...where as the other two guys for the Steelers have both attempted over 1,500 each..so how could you honestly say you would rather have Flynn in the SuperBowl over those 2 guys...I'm really confused . Sorry but Flynn wouldn't get it done facing either one of those guys.
.................................................................

If there is a God , please bring in Byron Leftwich at some point to play in the Super Bowl.
