I am a niner fan but hate this piece of shit with a passion.

On QB Alex Smith's development:

"I think it has been outstanding. I think the game, the pace visually and mentally, has slowed down for him now. I think he's comfortable with what he's seeing and what the calls are. I would expect as he builds toward the start of the championship season that he'll hit the ground running. I think it would be asinine to judge a quarterback in an exhibition season, based on the idea of people and plays and changes that are in and out and not a game plan situation. To make a judgment on statistics, statistical analysis on what a quarterback does, for me in the preseason, would not be wholesome at all."

I am very high on Crabtree this year....has potential to be a FREAK receiver, but the hesitation is of course the QB position with Mr. Smith. I think it won't be long till Carr is in there....I actually like David Carr. SF has a solid offensive line, so he won't be running for his life like in Houston.

I feel your pain man....way too much stock in Smith. I hope we are both wrong and he shows us all up.

Hudson I hear ya man what you think about this Nate Davis though.....seems to me all the great Mac qbs have done well in the NFL....he seems to move in the pocket well and has a strong arm and is very accurate....why not give him a start see how he does....but I know they wont

I took my dad to a game when Fresno St played at UNR and my dad was amazed that day with Carr and Berrian they looked like men vs boys...The out passes carr threw that day were bullets right on the money I was impressed also....it was also nice i had Fresno and the over that day and it was easy:00hour

I just cant take it when offensive coordinator and head coach say how great Smith is doing. A 7.4 rating but I dont look at stats.....what game was he watching
