the pittsburgh game...why didn't the referee call a pass interferenece on the last thrown by maddox? is it because the ball was caught? watch the replay..there was pass intereference and if the three falcon players were'nt draped over the back of the wide receiver he may have gotten into the endzone..if the recuever would have dropped the ball they might have called it but they probably thought "he caught so alls good" but pitt should have be given a first and goal at the 1 yard line for the last play of the game.....i think nfl referess should all be sanctioned for their efforts this year.

While I agree that the officiating has been putrid at best, it is hard as hell to get an interference call on a jump ball hail mary pass like that, especially when the defender looked as though he may have got a piece of the ball, even if he didn't he was still making an effort for the ball, not the reciever and in this kind of play you just never get that call.

Reguardless, the officiating has still decided too many games/spreads this year. In another thread someone wrote it seems it is the NFL's goal that all teams go 8-8 SU and 8-8 ATS, makes you wonder sometimes.
