What an amazing thread. Condi Rice surely cannot be a serious candidate? But then I said that about W. But no it makes perfect sense. Who else could be so easily controlled by Rove and Cheney and the Bush family than Rice?

So yes, it is obvious she will run.

Rice is not a leader. She's an intellectual. So far, she has failed this country miserably at 2 HUGE assignements: Security and Intelligence.

Why do people like her so much? Is it just this day and age of rewarding incompetence as long as you show loyalty? Do Repubs only like her because she's a Bush 'Yes" woman? Surely, even the Repubs have to have some major concern over her performance....???? Yes, no?

I wasn't aware the Rice was popular and certainly wasn't aware that she was being touted as a potential Presidential hopeful in '08.

I definitely see Hillary running and performing well. She has a great understanding of how the game works. This is obvious in her recent views on hot topics. I also feel if she was President that she would do a good job.

As a Republican, I also do not want to see Rudy on the ticket. I haven't decided who I would like to see, but I do know who I would not. Rice and Rudy are two of them.
