I have not been in the red since the start of the year. Cannot afford to not have some fun in the fall so got to either win or take it easy. Maybe I should change my unit from $100 to $25 or $10.

Big K, how is your memory. If you go back and check (unlike many on this forum, I post every win and loss and keep a season record), you will find that I was ahead when I stopped making all those "stupid parlays" and did not even count the 6 teamer over $5,000 that I hit which was also documented here. Also had 2 other hottest team parlays (6 teamers) come in while I was away, each was a little over $2,000 (I had only played one though

).

The losses I am going through right now are straight bets.

I appreciate your tolerance.

Just a comment Snooze. Cut back the unit size
and weather the storm, or take a few days off. You seem a little stressed, this chit will do it to ya, everyday. There will be peaks and valleys, hopefully more peaks. I had posted my picks throughout the weekend, but actually took Fri-Mon off, and feel revigorated. I just didn't want to be attached to following all the games , etc..

Allnet, thanks for the advice. You are right: trying to follow all the games actually takes away the pleasure of capping. I tried to cut back to 5 and found myself creeping back up again.

This stuff is frustrating sometimes, look at my picks and what SD did to me for today. Now, there is a lesson to be learned, I think. When you tie a total to a side, you're asking for two things to happen. That makes it tough. It's tough enough to pick a winner, much less tie a total to the game.
Sometimes you can play it to win all, that's what i did, and lost both bets. Got lucky on the Sea combo, I have to stay away from this. I did it with STL/ Minn also.

I couldn't agree more with you 'Net about those Padres. I left "Happy" hour with a 7-4 lead in the bottom of the 8th and get home to see that the Padres bullpen that I thought would be the glue that holds things together today allows the light hitting Angels to come back and win....... sometimes you just say what in the _____________.

Tomorrow is a new day and yes I also love Oswalt, what a great young talent.

Didn't mean anything serious by what I called stupid snoozing. I was just referring to how you used do the "who is hot" parlays and some of them other ones where you would do a couple 2 or 3 teamers a day based on some reason you gave.

I called it stupid cuz I would never do what you were doing but I never called your picks stupid. Just the parlays itself and in general were stupid.....lol

Anyways...keep up the good work !!
