Seminoles by 20. It's great seeing the Irish in a game with national championship implications when it's almost November, but they won't be able to stop the Seminoles at all and won't be able to run all over FSU.

Go Irish !!!

If the Seminoles didn't have Jones they would have lost to Miami by 40! Notre Dame will shut down Jones and force Rix to beat them if you think he can you are an IDIOT!!

But they do have Jones. Let's see: FSU can go to Miami and control the game, take the week off to fume and the Irish go from Indiana to Colorado, back to Indiana, then go to to Florida and are going to beat the kids that Davie couldn't get to come to Notre Dame.

Love the gold on the helmets, but like the green in my wallet more. Glad to see you've got your Irish up, ND won't enjoy the 50 lb. size advantage next Saturday on the lines and their offense will be as pedestrian as it's been in the early part of the season without the run attack. Beating the Big 10 in your own back yard is one thing, but Tallahassee??? Not yet for this program.

I live in Florida and follow the Florida teams close, the Irish are allowing 75 yards a game rushing and they WILL shut down Jones and force RIX to beat them, the Irish have been beating teams all year that people just like you said they couldn't! I am THE MOST DANGEROUS THING ON THE PLANET when it comes to betting on Notre Dame as I am a fan andI look harder than you can imagine to play against them. Bet against Notre Dame! I will wait just like I have ALL YEAR and play them on the money line!

I seem to remember Fla St going into Souh bend 10 years ago or so, undefeated, #1 in country, and having their ass handed to them by a one-dimensial ND team.

If Fla St. can lose to a crappy Louisville team, rain or no rain, they can be had on any saturday.

Agree with Robert's comment about Rix. I would make him beat me. Load the line to stop Jones and them let my secondary do their thing.

As I menioned before, I refuse to ignore the magic, fate, or whatever that is following ND around.

As alluded to, FSU O-line went into Miami and dominated what is considered the best front seven in college football. They were daring Rix to throw the ball, but it didn't matter. Easier said than done.

...have to agree with BBC on this one. The Irish have been extremely lucky this year and can't keep covering every game. They will be outmatched this weekend in both talent and physical ability...and with this one being on foreign soil, I expect them to be totally dominated by a bigger and faster club.

...even Touchdown Jesus won't be able to get them back to Indiana with a win this weekend. I hope you've enjoyed your nice little run, RBI.... You sure have made some nice cash if you've taken them on the $ line every week, but I just can't see them getting it done against Papa Bowden.

...good luck to everyone the rest of the way. :D

Hasn't ND covered the spread in every single game this season? That's tough to go against but all good things must come to an end. I think FSU wins the game but I haven't decided on the whether they cover.

Florida St. down to 10 at most places, still at 10' at some. If/when it goes to 9', Florida St. is a sure play for me, and probably will be anyways at 10 if it doesn't move. Agree strongly with BBC, and I know how much he loves ND. Some people are blinded by their loyalties (RBI).

And before *you* start up Jsmooth, one of my plays last week was Wisconsin.

Notre Dame has performed much better than anyone anticipated this year. They should be commended on their play. Even though AF was a rated opponent, I wouldn't read too much into that win, as impressive as it was. ND held a pretty big edge in size on both OL and DL. That same edge won't be there this week. AF beats up on weaker teams, in part, due to their organization and precision. When playing against better athletes, the undersized AF doesn't always match up well. WIll I lay the wood on Fla St? Not in a million years with Rix at the helm. But straight up, I would be very surprised to see the Irish pull it out. Hoping it is a good game and wish luck to all those who play it.
