Everyone on here is on Texas, Texas ML, Texas's defense is the greatest thing since sliced bread, Bama overrated, Bama has no offense, Bama feels like they have already won, Mack Brown is such a great game planner and makes such great adjustments at HT, etc, etc, blah, blah, blah:shrug:

Don't get me wrong, even though I am an SEC guy, I would not cry if Texas won this game. It is just amazing to me how great a team can become after I watched them give up 39 to A&M and then watch McCoy look like a deer in headlights at the end of the Big 12 champ. game.

Saban has one of those BCS championships as well, so I think he knows how to get a team prepared as well. I think it is going to be a tight, low scoring affair, but I cannot see why the confidence is so high on Texas:shrug:

I will watch with interest and again, it would not hurt me to be wrong on this:0corn

see everywhere i look nobody is giving texas a shot...13 out of 13 reporters in local paper here in memphis picked bama

the consensus site i use shows 75% on bama

i dont think anybody outside the state of texas thinks the horns have a shot at staying close in this game

i keep going back to the AUB/Bama game...if texas looks at that game which i think they will, they will see some keys to exploiting some weaknesses against the tide. AUB was NOT a very good team this year and in my mind had a very good shot at beating this bama squad. My question is was the nebraska defense that TXS saw better than the bama defense? i dont think so, others do...

The perception for this game and outcome are from the last game each played. One of the best defense in the country completely shut down Texas and Bama rolled Florida and their offense looked like the New orleans saints. I have no idea about this game??

No, War I agree with you, of course everyone around here thinks that, but all those are homers.

I was referring to everyone on here, where before I make plays, I look for different people's analysis. It seems everyone on here is on Texas - sorry for the confusion.

Don't get me wrong, gun to my head - I probably grab the 4 because I think it may be a FG game, but see some thinking Texas handles Bama and just cannot see that at all. If you tell me it's a blowout - I would say Bama wins and not Texas.

If Alabama was playing the Taliban, I'd wrap a towel around my head, eat tapas bread, deal opium, and move to afganistan.

I hate the University of Alabama and everyone affiliated with it with the white hot intensity of a thousand suns.

Fuck Bama.

I think you are an asshole, and have no right to pass judgement and make blanket statements. Wareagle posted soemthing that most who do not live in their parent's basement would find funny. Get a clue.

Fairweather Bama Fan. I hate your type even more.

I would bet you have a Bama bird house or a Bama mail box too.

Headline in local paper this morning, "Bama backers are happy as coon hounds in a pasture today"

Here is my take as an Auburn fan - If texas can stop the run - Hell Auburn did it - the refs are not from the SEC - go to be a crew from the pac 10 - and the refs actually call pick plays against Alabama - only pass play they could get to work against AU - then Texas will win.
I think if you go back to mid season Alabama had a hard time scoring TDs and kick a bunch of FG. I see the same thing happening today

Good post and analysis, but the linesmakers already see what youve broken down for us.

The o/u for rushing yards for INGRAM not BAMA is 101. Texas starting RB is somewhere in the 50s

We can all take from this what we will, but the FACT is that linesmakers
set the Ingram total at 10 yards below his season average of 118, and set
Newton's total at 10 yards over his season average of 46.
