F***ups happen as long as when you call someone tell you theres a problem. It shouldn't take 4 calls to set it straight. I'm not crying just stating faxs. Yes next time I'll send my deposit a month in advance.  To a better sports book

Hello all,

Again, all I want to do is help. I can't correct what has already happened, but I am instrumental in making sure situations don't happen more than once.

Also - I suggest considering NETeller.....all transfers to Olympic via NETeller are FREE! REGARDLESS of the amount. Setting up an account will take a couple of days, because of bank account verificaitons....but if you set one up on Monday, you're ready to roll long before the weekend games.

Once setup, transfers take seconds!! I guarantee that, as I've tried every option out there for transfers and account setups.

Sportsnut - I wish I could have helped you earlier, but I can't. O'Brien, Bobby and the crew are all good guys. I've been there, met them and they work hard to take care of our players. Sometimes, it is just a miscommunication...these things happen....Sundays can be tough when everyone is frantic to get their bets in...

We do a good job and I stand behind all the people there. You can't be 100% perfect all the time, but we try very hard and learn from our mistakes.

Feel free to contact me anytime with any issues...I will always get you in touch with the right people or help solve the problem myself.

Thanks Karol, The facts of the matter is still the lack of competent people to handle the problem. I gave them 1 1/2 hours and 4 calls someone sound have been able to address the problem or tell me there was a problem. That is poor management period. Your customer service is just bad.

if i didnt know any better, id have thought spiro and the gang at olympic just got done skull-fuc/kin your mom.

whew. relax dude. while i dont think olympic's customer service is the best out there (in comparison to other books), it IS pretty competent, and they do get things resolved in the end.

i know what youre saying about "whats right is right" but it just seems like your spewing tons of venom over a mix-up that happens from time to time.

not sayin you dont have a right to be a little peeved, but my god- save the serious venom for when something legitimately bad happens in life.

I've dealt with Olympic among many others and have to say I have never had a problem with their customer service. In fact, after trying 6 or 7 sportsbooks I've settled on the fact that they are the best of the lot.

I will say though that if you get this annoyed by such a small problem as you encountered, you'll be REALLY p*ssed over some of the gaffaws the other books make.

I've been w/oly for 2 years and never had any problems, but sportsnut has a right to bitch that's why this post is in the general forum, if you don't want to read it, then don't!!

Oly ****ed and granted they appoligized for it, but never offered to throw some sort of freebie his way, which is always good business, and I'm sure sportsnut is not looking for a freebie, but an offer would be nice:shrug:

Thanks Skulldog I'm not looking for a freebie. Just making a post that could help others.I thought that was what this sight is base on. I have dealt with Olympic for at least 2 years and there web sight is great never down no problems. The problem is in there customer service and phone service just trying to spread the word. To be careful.

In one breath you say 2 years no trouble, then you say big trouble making a deposit which is really bs by you anyways.

spread this word..

note to self .....sportsnuts is a dipstick.

He is unable to emulate a average normal thinking logical person. Be aware sportsnuts complaints may not be valid.

Has anyone actually used the word 'dipstick' since Crazy Cooter, Cletus, Boss Hawg and the gang from Dukes of Hazzard?

I think your post has indirectly helped others.
Lesson to be learned: If you anticipate wagering with a sportsbook don't wait till "crunch time" 2 hours prior to kickoff on Sat or Sun to fund account unless you do it via neteller or similiar method that is pre set.

No doubt mistakes happen in any business.

But to have the same person have the same problem twice in three weeks (9/1 and 9/21), when it rarely happens to anyone else, seems strange. Maybe I just got lucky -- replenished my account and it was the same name that I sent money to like 5 years ago. Didn't seem that tough.... Oh well, better luck next time sportsnut.

But DTB makes a good point about not waiting until crunchtime.
