Raptors after having won 4 in a row are getting WAY too much credit. I'm from the city and let me tell you, this team is playing over it's head. Now the Rockets come to town, already 2-0 on their road trip with someong to prove. They got shallacked in Houston earlier this year by the Raps, only because Tmac decided not to show up for the second half.

Anyhow, I don't usuallly post my NBA picks, just tail alot of you guys on plays if I want some action. Usually I stick to MLB/NFL/NHL, but I saw this line and loved it.

I'm from Toronto, and I was thinking of going with Toronto, than I decided not to touch the game, ok Toronto has typically been a good home team over the years, this year not so much, but I think after the Orlando game there comforatable they can play at home now, when you got James hitting shots from everywhere, Mo-Pete hitting 3's and driving to the basket, and you got Chris Bosh down low with no one to defend him, even Yao would get schooled. I don't know I think it will be a close game, I think you layed way too much for a game that could go either way, better hope T-Mac hits 30 + again, thats your only shot. Something positive for you is James might try to do to much especially late against his former team and take bad shots. If James continues to play like he has, Toronto should get this game. Still laying off. never liked PK games.

Just my .02

Just my .02

The Raps are playing better now, not just over their heads. A lot of credit goes to Sam Mitchell, who seems to have schooled some of these kids. They are making lots better decisions now, especially later in games. And they are actually playing some defense!

Guess I'm saying they are starting to gel as a team, and we are seeing that there is some really good talent there, that fits together. The Raps are actually in a very good position going into the future, IMHO, with young talent, draft picks and a good cap position.

Maybe they aren't the "loveable losers" anymore, but they could start to like the feel of being the (sometimes at least) loveable winners.

Anyways, thanks for your take on the situation! Lot's better than talking to myself, and hope you don't mind someone taking the devil's advocate position here. Personally, I've got a good chunk on Houston myself, tho am concerned that Tracy McG is not himself lately and has that bum knee, not just that he decides not to show. Cripes, now I'm talking myself into buying back some of my bet...sheesh...time to shut up. Good Luck Tonite!!

Good points from both of you, and I know I am laying quite a bit for an NBA game, which I generally do NOT like doing, simply because occasionally these guys decide not to show up for games. Albeit, I have seen this Toronto team let the city down time and time again---hell, they've got the reporters talking play-offs already. I just really like Houston in this spot...

Good Luck

Howard got tossed from the game...

Yeah, knew that would rile up James -- didn't plan on him playing like AI. Still strongly believe this team is playing over it's head, just hit'em too early.

Rox are miserable on 2nd game of back to backs.
It was a no play for me. Sorry to see the Rockets fail you.
Ming will be back soon but might be too late to make a playoff run if they keep this up.
