I never thought he would be as good as Marty...that was really stupid of them to get rid of Marty so quick...Norv has never been a winner don't really know why everyone is always in love with him...
plus norv is supposed offensive genius and LT is now usless, 9/20 today ... poor all year, hes avg 1.9 per carry for 2007

laughable, in my youth i woulda lost a lot of money on this game ... no way sd even wins su, they are getting abused

wonder how marty feels, always seemed to be a good guy ... i was upset they dumped him, thought it was unfair ... i guess the owner and he didnt get along ... but turner is proving to be a huge bust, baffling theyd ever hire him, said it at the time and sure seems clear now ... sd was one of the big faves to get to sb, now they might not make playoffs .... sad sad sad ... anyone in sd ever hear any comments from marty, please post them or email me, id be curious
I never liked Norv Turner....he's an average, if that, coach IMO. If he's so good then why has he been bouncing around the last 5-6 years......He just happened to get a team with a ton of talent this time.
Norv Turner is proving that he just isn't good enough. Not sure when the GMs will come to this conclusion. Maybe Matt Millen will give him another chance in a few years.

The reason Marty was let go was because he couldn't win in the playoffs. Yea, Marty and the GM didn't get along but that didn't seem to matter as long as they were winning. Marty is as classy a person as you'll ever meet and he never has said or will ever say anything negative about the Chargers organization.
Norv was brought in because they thought it would be an easy transition since he put in this offense when he was Marty's Offensive coordinator but to me it looks like they are going the wrong way. The play calling is not much different than Marty's, LT on 1st and 2nd down runs when everyone is expecting it. I have no clue why they don't let Rivers audible much but the biggest problem with this team is the secondary which couldn't cover Madden and the goose if they were the only players on offense.
