Disagree Just what illegal drugs would be enhancing to a golfer? Probably one of few that would benefit performance would be Xanax--which is for anxiety and could be obtained in script legally.

PGA players are not remotely similiar to players in many sports where players are quilty of murder-rape-drug sales-ect on monthly basis

Biggest transgressions of PGA players is divorce and an occasional DUI.

In fact he integrity of the players makes referees obsolete--they call penaties on themselves

--there may be a few isolated cases but to lump them in with other elements of sports because they make big bucks would be same as comparing felony convictions of PGA players to players of foots and b-ball--there is no comparison.

What the hell does the fact that other sports have people guilty of murder and rape have to do with steroid use? Are you telling me they use because they are criminals in general? HA! That makes absolutely zero sense. Regardless if they are criminals or not, they take steroids and other enhancers to gain a competitive edge.

Steroid use is rampant in cycling, swimming, and many other sports where the athletes are not guilty of those crimes you listed. That has absolutely nothing to do with it. Any time you have competition and especially when significant amounts of money is involved you will have people trying to get an edge, legal or not.

Why can't roids put on 20 yards on a driver? It definitely can. I'm not saying the elite golfers do (tiger, etc) but I guarantee you there are some who do use them. If you don't think so you need to pull back the sheep's wool.

When I see the 1st bulked up golfer I'll believe it--golf is not about strength--unprescribed beta blockers would be most logical abuse if any--most golf training is light weights with numerous repetition and being bulkedup would be detrimental--above all pro golfers integrity in general exceeds most other athletes-eg--the fact that other sports are plauged by criminal elements not remotely seen of golf tours.

"Steroids can add 20 yards to a drive"? Well, as a professional golfer who has used steroids in the past I can guarentee you that this is not the case. All it does is tighten up your muscles and phuck up your short game and feel inside 100. Doesn't add any distance at all. Hitting a long drive comes from correct timing with the body, arms, club head, correct wrist angles, etc etc. That's why some of the skiniest and smallest guys around with good technique can hit the ball further than the large guy who looks much stronger. Scott Hend is the longest guy on tour and is 5ft 8 and standard build.
I do believe that muscle and anxiety relaxers can help you under the pump during a tournament tho and there would have to be a number of players taking them.
Gary Player :mj07: using creatine in the same sentence as steroids tho?? lmao!

Well said. As for HGH, what is it and what do you think it would do for an old champ like Gary Player?
