I couldn't agree with you more.
So annoying when people moan and groan during the first part of a game whether it is in any sport, not just baseball. You nailed it right on the head saying those individuals are rookies and have not reached veteran status. If you need the game to go wire to wire for you all the time, you probably shouldn't be gambling. It's just not going to happen all the time.
By the way, I find the phrase reverse mojo sickening. It has no bearing on the outcome of the game and is annoying to see it come up so often. Just my opinion on that phrase.
However in fairness to JasonX, he doesn't appear to be the worst offender in this area compared to some of the cry babies I've seen through out the forums. Plus the game really did not look good for the under at that point. I've seen others complain about games down 2-0 after two innings. Simply ridiculous. Plus rather than becoming argumentative with you, he said fair enough. Counts for something but that being said, I would have been very annoyed myself with someone tallying my record with a loss after four innings. Uncalled for.
For instance on the other side, my biggest golf play of the last few months was an underdog today @ + 105 and I had a three stroke lead with only two holes to play. I didn't count it as a win and sure enough lost a stroke on 17 and after a double bogey on the final hole, I ended up with a push. Frustrating but it's never over till it goes Final.
Finally wanted to say, I appreciate your posting of your plays. Always something I consider before I dive in. You are very consistent with insightful writeups, in addition to being very hot lately. Great job, good luck going forward and thanks.
I don`t think he`s a bad guy....And i wish him all the luck in the world....I`m also happy when someone tails me and makes money....It`s a good thing.
But,nothing for nothing......Like you said.....He was tallying up my record as 2-1 on the day midway through the game.....Did he mean it??? Of course he did,no way in hell did he think that game was going under.....He counted the under 7.5 a loss in the 4th inning.
Like i stated above.....I am a gambling veteran.....I take nothing for granted...I seen it all....It is never over till the FINAL SCORE....I was on the Rockies last week when they were getting pounded by the Cards 9-3 in the 9th and they won the game.
This is how i look at things.....
Some of you guys can take these tips to heart if you want.
In another forum...I won`t mention the name....They are saying that the over 7.5 in the Cubs-Dodgers game was the right play.....My thing is this....If you dont collect money at the end of the game....You are not on the right play....It`s impossible.....You are never on the right play if you lose your bet....Period!
I don`t care if your team fumbles the ball on the 1 yard line....I don`t care if your team misses 12 free throws and your team lost by 1 point...I don`t care if the umpire blows a call....Your either on the right side or wrong side.....And the final score determines that.
There is no luck involved...Save yourself an ulcer.
Dwelling on a game, just sucks.....Replaying it in your mind....If this or that would have happened....Take it from me....Move on to the next game.
Let the games play out.....And wait for the Final score....And move on win or lose....That`s for Jason X to remember.
